PODCAST

Podcast Launch Story
I have been sharing my travel stories and experience on the blog for a little over two years. I enjoy writing and organizing my thoughts, putting it out on the world and hoping some of you might find it helpful or entertaining. As life takes me to different adventures, I got to meet many new friends, who shared with me their interesting stories that happened during travel as well as in their personal life. I feel inspired and extremely grateful that I got to connect with them on the next level through sharing thoughts and feelings. Whether it was a laughable moment, a "painful" lesson, or an unusual traveling hack, it broadened my horizon and made me want to learn more about their stories. Just like every child is unique in its own way, each travel story has its unique angle and deserves its own spotlight. I want to use this podcast as a platform for women travelers to share their unique experiences and how those experiences affect their lives and perspectives.

Topics and Guests
In each episode, I will invite a guest (or a group of guests) to join me and share their stories and perspectives on travel-related topics, such as family travel, budgeting, romantic getaways, work and life balance, etc. Since life itself is a fascinating journey, I will also cover topics on the struggles and adventures of being women, moms, and entrepreneurs in this modern age. If you would like to nominate a guest for the podcast, please send me an email at contact@almostnomadic.com

Where to Listen
You can listen to the podcast on this blog site, on iTunes, and on Spotify (yes, we are on all of them!) Just search "Almost Nomadic Podcast" on any platform you prefer.

The Inaugural Episode
In the first episode of the podcast, I got to chat with a Houston travel mom, Jennifer Tang, who is a mother of two, a professional dentist, a fearless entrepreneur and a very close friend of mine. She shared inside stories of being first-time mom, the highs and lows of traveling with kids, and how those experiences influenced and shaped relationships with spouse, kids and friends. Give it a listen and let me know your thoughts on being a mother and traveling with small children.
